This is a simple frontend to yt-dlp. This also requires ffmpeg's library. All the prerequisites are available from brew. The instructions are built into the app. This should work with Sonoma through Tahoe and beyond, but only on the new Apple Silicon (M1-M?). enjoy. Before you can use this tool, you must follow the simple one time brew instructions for installing the required tools. For security reasons, we have you install them directly. To use, simply browse to any of the supported streaming services. When you find the video you want to keep, choose mp3/mp4 and click download. quicktime compatibility will allow you to play the videos more completely in macos, but it makes a larger file and takes a bit longer. you can also set your default download folder.
